POD: Day 211 | 3.12.12

First Day of internship! The day consisted of a lot of orientation and formalities. Toward the later part of the afternoon I got to ride around with photographer Jeff Wilhelm while he searched for a junk/antique shop for a feature in Mount Holly, NC. We stopped at one place that was full of antiques and memorabilia, but they did no want their building photographed for fear of theft. While the hunt did not prove to be fruitful, the conversation was nice and so was the weather! I also met the wonderful woman who is renting a room to me during my time in Charlotte and one of her beautiful cats, Porter. All in all, not a bad first day.
