POD: Day 346 | 7.27.12

A sunset hike I was supposed to photograph for an assignment was cancelled by one of summer's sporadic, torrential downpour. That was a bummer...until the rain cleared for a few minutes and I saw the sunset over the city of Durham. The intense golden tones that were spilling over the city were overwhelming. This frame, aside from a slight crop, is directly from camera.

POD: Day 170 | 1.30.12

Kathy McMahan, front, works independently during a basic computer skills class at Randolph Community College's Archdale Campus while her instructor, LaShanda Hague, back center, helps another student, Jesse Shipwash, back left.
In the middle of a busy day there was a bit of beauty as the sun set behind the trees. And of all places for something goegeous to happen, this was in the school parking lot. Look at that color---beauty is all around us!

A Bad Week for Good Photos

It has been a busy week. That means a POD from the highway.

POD: Day 45

On a lighter note, I entered my first photography competition today :)
