POD: Day 346 | 7.27.12

 A sunset hike I was supposed to photograph for an assignment was cancelled by one of summer's sporadic, torrential downpour. That was a bummer...until the rain cleared for a few minutes and I saw the sunset over the city of Durham. The intense golden tones that were spilling over the city were overwhelming. This frame, aside from a slight crop, is directly from camera.
