Music Video | White Flowers

For Multimedia class we had a final project that involved making a music video for a band. Luckily, Philip Pledger, with the band Estrangers, agreed to let us use the band's song, White Flowers for our video. Many thanks to the band for being willing to participate in this project---we couldn't have done it without you!

The wonderful team I worked with included two fellow photojournalism students, Anna Eyler and Alyssa Murkin. Along with the help of two incredibly lovely people as the female and male characters in the video, Carleigh Morgan and Dillon Deaton, the video came together quite nicely. Anna, Alyssa and I spent hours storyboarding and working out every scene while listening to a great song that is now permanently burned into our memories. With everyone working so well together, as well as late hours, plus having locations that fit the scenes so well, we were able to maintain a lot of the original vision we had for the video.

I could not have asked for a better team with Anna and Alyssa. Their creativity and determination to not only work hard, but also make something that we could all be proud of, was truly inspiring. You ladies are the best!

A special 'thank you' to Krankies Coffee for letting us invade your space after hours!
