Today marked another successful and delicious Chaos Cooking event in Winston-Salem. The theme was 'Brunch Through Lunch' so participants could prepare brunchy food or lunchy food or whatever they felt inspired to make. There was a pitcher of homemade bloody mary mix that was as spicy as it was saucy (made by yours truly), breakfast enchiladas, rhubarb coffee cake, ham & cheese waffles, peach & prosciutto crepes, creamed mushrooms on top of buttered, garlic toast, chunky cinnamon raisin toasts, a hearty, vegetarian tomato lentil soup, stone ground grits topped with sweet potatoes/spinach/goat cheese/fresh tomatoes, ground cherry clafoutis, and so many more delectable dishes. Thank you to everyone who came out and a HUGE thank you to Margaret & Salem for hosting!
Also, Michael Hastings, from the Winston-Salem Journal, was in attendance today. Look for an article about this brunch and Chaos Cooking Winston-Salem in Wednesday's paper!
