Wednesday was the first day I was set out on my own. The high temperature for the day was expected to reach 85, which meant the paper needed a 'warm weather' photo. I had no idea here to go so I just got in my car and started to drive. I came across Veterans Park on Central Avenue and started hunting. The park has tennis courts, a playground, softball field, basketball courts, and plenty of green space for walking or lounging. This is the image I made that day and it played as a weather photo in Thursday's paper on 2C:
