POD: Day 192 | 2.22.12

My day had a very early beginning......because I thought today was Thursday and I was trying to get to get school early to sign up for equipment next week. D'oh!
The nice part was that I got to gradually watch the sun rise.

Controlled Burn | Natural Light

One of my favorite things about photographing a controlled burn is seeing the light pierce through the smoke, making the rays visible and turning a scene from ordinary to extraordinary.

Habañero Harvest

This morning I noticed several habaneros hanging like little orange ornaments in the garden. There was a whopping total of sixteen (usually we have only been getting one or two at a time). With the diffused light of a cloudy day and heavy dew from a wet evening, I couldn't resist taking a picture.

POD: Day 21

Of course there were other peppers to be picked (jalapeño & cayenne) and they were equally as beautiful, so they got some camera time as well.
