Atlanta Seminar

Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar - Friday: Video with Rich Addicks | Marketing Yourself with Deborah Pang Davis | The most delicious vegetable sandwich I have ever eaten | Nervousness |  Portfolio Reviews

AP photographer, Julie Jacobson, reviews the portfolio of fellow RCC PJ, Anna Eyler.

POD: Day 110

Designer, Deborah Pang Davis, inadvertently makes a shadow puppet (of a snake?) after her "Marketing Yourself" seminar.

Photojournalism students find a seat on the floor of the Westin before seminars begin.

A room full of respected photojournalists reviewing the portfolios of photojourn students and freelancers. It was slightly nerve-wracking at first, but ended up being one of the best parts of the seminar.

Fellow RCC PJ, Alyssa Murkin.

Fellow RCC PJ, Anna Eyler.

POD: Day 103

Last night I went to the opening of a photo exhibit, Controlled Burn, by friend and RCC photo grad, Will Parham. It took place inside a new hifi store/gallery in the arts district, Ember Audio + Video, owned by brothers, Chris Livengood and Blake Stewart. The show is beautiful---make time to see it if you have not already (and if you have, then go see it again).

The many shadows of Ember Audio + Video co-owner, Chris Livengood, as he explains the structure of a custom-built turn table.
