Taken at the opening for the current exhibit at SECCA: Out of Fashion. These three pieces were part of an installation, Mementos of a Doomed Construct, by artist Stephanie Liner.
SECCA XC
After having so much fun at the bike races over the weekend, I decided to check out a cyclocross event this evening at SECCA. It was part of the SECCA Cyclocross Training Series (presented by Mock Orange Bikes). The course seemed to be more organic, almost entirely off-road and the racing was a little more lighthearted than serious---it was a training session after all. However, I am a curious person and I love sports without balls (the ones that fly through the air), which mean that now I want to go to a full-blown, down and dirty, real-deal-Evander-Hollifield cyclocross race. Even more so, now I want to ride.
