The day began as three candidates for CMS superintendent position made the rounds for public forums (view slideshow). I was assigned to cover Dr. Kriner Cash from Memphis, TN as he spoke at St. Peter's Episcopal Church.
The day wrapped up with a community conversation about Trayvon Martin at Little Rock AME Zion Church---less than two hours after it was announced that George Zimmerman would be charged with second-degree murder in the shooting of Martin.
