A Painted Skyline

The Winston-Salem skyline at night can be quite stunning sometimes. Tonight was one of those times, but when I pulled over to capture it, the photos seemed bland, tired. I decided to play a little by moving my camera (while it was on the tripod) and try for a "painted" look. I have seen it done before with magnificent results. I think practice is in order for me, but I like that despite the abstract lines, I can still "see" the buildings. It was a fun experiment that I will continue to explore.
