The Grayson Capps Band

I ventured to The Garage tonight to capture video for a friend and musician, The Salts (aka Marcus Hodges). I enjoyed getting to see him perform (for the first time) and listen to his Tom-Waits-gone-hillbilly vocals, especially when paired with the plucked strings of his banjo. He opened for The Grayson Capps Band, whose set I only caught two songs of and truly enjoyed. I was told by Marcus that Grayson Capps' father (Ronald Everett Capps) wrote the screenplay for The Love Song of Bobby Long, and Grayson (pictured below) did most of the music for the movie.

    Well captured. I like the tight framing. Nice and sharp, too. Good work under what I am sure were challenging lighting conditions.
