Storyline Retreat

Recently I had the fortunate opportunity to become part of the Storyline Committee. My first experience with the committee was today during the annual retreat, held this year at the lovely Beta Verde in Winston-Salem. It was a productive meeting full of positive idea exchanges and inspiring dialogue. In addition to the work, we were supplied with wonderful local food by Margaret Neff and Salem Neff, the mother and daughter duo behind Beta Verde. When we broke for lunch, we were provided with a salad of mixed greens and grilled chicken, accompanied by grilled cheese and blueberry-jalapeño jam sandwiches. Overall, it was quite a successful and delicious day!
