POD: Day 220 | 3.21.12

   I did not have any assignments today so I asked photographer John Simmons if I could tag along when he went to the Carolina Raptor Center. The raptor center is located within the Latta Plantation Nature Preserve in Huntersville, NC. 
   John was taking photos to generate interest in the center's Photo WILD! program where they allow 35 photographers to spend the day photographing birds of prey outside their cages so they can get better photos of the birds. The bird curator invited us to come to Photo WILD! next week--her treat! (view online slideshow here)
