POD: Day 161 | 1.22.12

In addition to being an incredibly talented designer and artist, my friend Shanthony Exum is also a rapper known as Miss Eaves. With Miss Eaves gaining momentum and endless attention  (especially after her awesome NPR video) she needed some PR photos and I needed more practice using flash and finding my comfort zone when photographing portraits---win, win! Plus Shanthony bubbles with personality and is one of the most fun people I know, so it was not difficult to find a comfort zone with her. These are a few of my favorites from our shoot today.
