New Leash on Life is a program that takes homeless dogs (from the Forsyth County Humane Society) and pairs them with qualifying prisoners in the Forsyth Correctional Facility to receive socialization, crate-training, basic obedience skills and agility training. After "graduating" from the program, the dogs are ready to be adopted by a family and the inmate is paired with another dog to train.
