J. B. Edwards, front, and Joanna Tudor, back, of Winston-Salem, watch as public art is created during the Winston-Salem Light Project at the Stevens Center on Fourth Street. The multimedia project, created by students from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, is meant to heighten awareness of city elements in a way that prompts reflection on the urban environment and our role in it.
The Winston-Salem Light Project will present “One City Block: Urban Revelations” Nov. 16-20 from sunset to 11 p.m. on Fourth Street between Cherry and Marshall streets and in front of the Winston-Salem Journal on Marshall Street. It is free and open to the public.
